C-NRPP Certified Radon Testing Company

There is no way for the human senses to detect the presence of radon, and there are many ways it can enter your home.

Radon gas breaks down and becomes radioactive. There are no safe levels of radon.

Evidence shows a clear link between lung cancer and high concentrations of radon

SOME ALARMING FACTS ABOUT RADON

The primary route of exposure to radon and its progeny is inhalation. Radiation exposure from radon is indirect. The health hazard from radon does not come primarily from radon itself, but rather from the radioactive products (radon daughters) formed in the decay of radon.[1]

The general effects of radon on the human body are caused by its radioactivity and the consequent risk of radiation-induced cancer. Lung cancer is the only observed consequence of high concentration radon exposures; both human and animal studies indicate that the lungs and respiratory system are the primary targets of radon daughter-induced toxicity.
